A huge thank you to The Rotary Club of Lutterworth for their extremely generous £500 donation to spend in Morrisons Lutterworth, to purchase food and supplies for our emergency parcels.
Thank you also to Morrisons for allowing us a discount on the purchased items so that the donation went even further and to Lynda Coupland who ‘shopped’ for the items for us from our list to help us keep our volunteer contact time to a minimum.
In the past 2 weeks we have seen an 81% increase in the number of 3-day emergency parcels we have supplied to families in crisis, so this support has really helped us to ensure our parcels are balanced and as helpful as possible to our clients.
